new roads

今日はenjoy cyclingをしました。

コースは:
柏崎～新道～鯖石～石川峠～小国～R11～塚山峠～越路かたくりの森(上の入口)～越路かたくりの森(下の入口)～塚山峠～長鳥～安田～新道～柏崎 (65キロ、900m登り)

初めて越路かたくりの森に行きました。塚山峠の一番上の所に“←越路かたくりの森”と看板があったので入ってみました。とてもいい道がありますよ！アップダウンの道がたくさんあって景色もいいし、ハイキングトレイルもたくさんありますが、ただの道でもとても面白いです。山の上を走る道です。おすすめじょんのび！でも今日は3回迷子になりました。
そして、他の入口の看板があったのでそちらに向かって山から下りました。すごい道でした。舗装のいいカーブの多い所もあったし、急なコンクリートの道もあったし、オフロードもありました。どこに出るのかなと思いました。

やっと塚山峠の下に出ました。今度は逆にそこから入って、山の道を登りたいと思います。

Today I went out and enjoyed cycling.

Course:
Kashiwazaki～Shindou～Sabaishi～Ishikawa Pass～Oguni～R11～Tsukayama Pass～ Koshiji Katakuri Forest (upper entrance)～ Koshiji Katakuri Forest (lower entrance)～Tsukayama Pass～Nakadori～Yasuda～Shindou～Kashiwazaki (65km、900m climbing)

It was the first time to go to Koshiji Katakuri Forest. At the top of Tsukayama Pass, there is a sign for the forest to the left. I rode in and took a look. It’s a great road! There are lots of roads going up and down and great views too. I recommend it　じょんのび！

There are a lot of hiking trails in the forest but the actual roads are really interesting too. The main road runs along the top of the mountain ridge. I got lost a few times. Eventually I came to a sign pointing left for the forest entrance. I took this road which was fantastic too. It has really good surfaced winding sections, really steep concrete sections and even some off-road bits. I was wondering where I was going to end up.

Eventually the road joined up with the bottom of Tsukayama Pass. Next time I want to enter the forest at this point and try the road going up.
