Saturday’s kings of the mountains

今日はキタノさんと一緒に走りました。

コース：
CS ENOSAN～石川峠～R403～松代～R353～石黒～鵜川～野田～柏崎(82キロ、 1200m登り)

今日は二人でKING OF THE MOUNTAINS COMPETITIONをやってしまいました。 TOURのKING OF THE MOUNTAINS COMPETITIONでは峠の頂点を最初に通過した選手にポイントが与えられます。

①石川峠(CAT HC) 12キロ走った後

キタノさんが下の急な所からロングアタック！二人の間にあった“GAP”はどんどん大きくなりました。上で100m位のGAPがあったかな！？すごいじょんのび！

キタノさんに“オールアウトでしたか？”と聞いたら“もちろん！”と言っていました！

②R403中子クライム (CAT HC) 30キロを走った後

このクライムは一番急です。また下からキタノさんがアタック！今回ダンシング！“上までダンシングは無理だよ！”と思いました！僕はマイペースで登って、キタノさんにやっと追い付きました。でもキタノさん、アタックナンバー2!僕はまたマイペースでキタノさんの所まで上がりました。ゴールまでに20mしかなかったから“僕はこのまま行ける！”と思いました。でも、キタノさんがアタックナンバー3！すごいじょんのび！

③松代町からR353の入口 (CAT 2) 50キロ走った後

“よし。僕の好きなロングなだらか登り！”でもキタノさんも好きですね！前に出て、重いギアを使って、オールアウトじょんのび！

キタノさんが“あれは一番きつかった”と言ってたので嬉しかったじょんのび！

④R353じょんのびジェットコースター (CAT 1) 60キロ走った後

“よし。二人が大好きなきついアップダウン！”僕はいつも後半に調子が出ます。登りに一生懸命走って、下りにリカバリーして、オールアウトじょんのび！

総合順位は1位キタノさん&アンディでした！ KINGS OF THE MOUNTAINS!

今日はとてもいいトレーニングでした。いつも言ってますが、一人ではこれだけのトレーニングは出来ないですね！キタノさん、いつもありがとうじょんのび！

Course：
CS ENOSAN～Ishikawa Pass～R403～Matsudai～R353～Ishiguro～Ukawa～Nota～Kashiwazaki(84km、 1200m of climbing)

Today turned into a KING OF THE MOUNTAINS COMPETITION. In the TOUR’s KING OF THE MOUNTAINS COMPETITION, points are taken by being the first over the pass

①Ishikawa Pass (CAT HC) after 12km

Kitano san went straight from the steep part at the bottom of the pass in what turned out to be a really long attack. I could see the gap getting wider and wider in front of me all the way up. By the time we reached the summit, he must have had 100m on me. Fantasticじょんのび！

I said to Kitano san “Did you go all out?”. “Of course!” came the reply!

②R403 Nakako climb (CAT HC) after 30km

This is the hardest of the climbs. Again, Kitano san attacked from the foot of the climb! This time he was “dancing” out of the saddle. I thought “there’s no way he can go all the way up like that!”. I rode hard but steady and managed to work my way back up to him. However, attack no. 2! Again I rode hard but steady and managed to get across the gap. Now there was only about 20m of road to the top of the pass and I thought “I’ll be able to ride through here!”. Only for, attack no.3! Fantasticじょんのび！

③Matsudai to the entrance of R353 (CAT 2) after 50km

Right! My kind of climb! Nice and long and not too steep! But Kitano san loves these kind of climbs too! I went to the front, got into a heavy gear and went “ALL OUTじょんのび！”.

Kitano san said that that was the toughest of all the climbs which made me really happyじょんのび！

④R353じょんのび roller coaster (CAT 1) after 60km

Right! The tough up and down course that we both love! I always come strong later in a ride. I rode hard on the climbs, recovered on the descents, “ALL OUTじょんのび！

Today’s final standings were 1st Kitano san and Andy！ KINGS OF THE MOUNTAINS!

Today was fantastic training. I always say it, but there is no way you could do that kind of training alone! Kitano san, thank you every timeじょんのび！
